Collection: Dappled Botanicals

A series reminiscent of summer afternoons, exploring the forms and shapes of shadows cast as the sun shines through the trees.

This small series consists of six muted watercolor paintings, some with a touch of graphite detail. 

With these paintings, I hoped to capture the feeling of dappled light scattering through trees as they sway in the summer breeze.

I loved experimenting with this pastel palette, as well as the unpredictability of how the paint moved on the beautiful handmade paper.... I hope you love them too.
